Ouachita Parish, La. - LA-15 Crash Causes One Fatality

The Incident

A two-vehicle crash on LA-15 in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, on February 10th, 2024, tragically claimed the life of 46-year-old Clint Harper of Downsville. The accident occurred shortly before 9:00 am.

Cause Under Investigation

The cause of the accident remains under investigation. Initial reports indicate that a 2011 GMC Yukon driven by 41-year-old Jonathan Vestal crossed the centerline and collided with a southbound 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Harper.

Aftermath

Harper, who was properly restrained, died at the scene. Vestal sustained minor injuries and received medical treatment at a local hospital. Toxicology samples were collected from both drivers for analysis as part of the ongoing investigation.
