On Friday, February 2nd, 2024, a tragic accident occurred in Reserve, Louisiana, involving a school bus and an SUV driven by 67-year-old Beverly Creecy. Ms. Creecy, a beloved former school employee, was running errands when the accident happened.
Details
- The school bus, making a right turn, collided with Ms. Creecy’s eastbound SUV on Highway 44.
- Ms. Creecy was taken to the hospital but died from her injuries.
- The bus driver sustained minor injuries and received medical attention.
- Thankfully, none of the 28 students on the bus were injured.
Investigation
The cause of the accident is still under investigation by Louisiana State Police. Toxicology results are pending, and no charges have been filed as of yet.
