Details
- Ms. Flores was riding a northbound 2023 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle when, for unknown reasons, she crossed the center line and side-swiped a southbound 2010 Lexus R35.
- Ms. Flores’ motorcycle then collided head-on with a southbound 2023 Dodge Charger.
Fatality and Injuries
- Ms. Flores, despite wearing a helmet, sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
- The drivers of both the Lexus and the Dodge sustained minor injuries and were medically evaluated.
Investigation
The cause of the accident remains under investigation by Louisiana State Police Troop E. Toxicology samples were collected from Ms. Flores as part of routine procedures, although impairment is not suspected.
