A tragic accident occurred on March 8th, 2024, shortly after noon, at the intersection of LA 10 and LA 955 in East Feliciana Parish. The collision between two vehicles resulted in the death of 57-year-old Frank Stevens of Ethel.
Details
- A 2005 Toyota Sequoia, traveling eastbound on LA 10, collided with a 2016 Toyota Scion driven by Mr. Stevens.
- Mr. Stevens, who was turning northbound on LA 955 onto LA 10, entered the path of the Sequoia.
- The frontal collision resulted in Mr. Stevens sustaining fatal injuries. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Investigation
- Louisiana State Police Troop A is investigating the cause of the accident.
- Toxicology samples were collected from Mr. Stevens as part of standard procedures, although impairment is not suspected.
- The driver and passenger of the Sequoia sustained moderate injuries and received medical attention at a local hospital.
