St. Tammany, La. - Fatal Single Vehicle Accident

The Incident

On Saturday night, February 10th, 2024, a single-vehicle accident occurred on Interstate 12 eastbound near La. 59 in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.

Cause Under Investigation

The cause of the accident remains under investigation. Preliminary investigation showed Stiglet was driving a 2007 GMC Yukon when she veered off the road to the left and struck a tree. Despite wearing her seatbelt, she sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Louisiana State Police obtained a toxicology sample for analysis to determine if impairment played a role.

Aftermath

The accident tragically resulted in the death of 41-year-old Diann Stiglet of Gulfport, Mississippi.
